I grew up on the north shore of eastern Long Island and began studying clarinet through the local school at the age of ten.

Studying privately through high school and college and playing in community bands, orchestras and pit orchestras throughout my adult life, music has been a constant companion and source of joy for as long as I can remember.

After a 35 year career teaching HS German and English in NY, I retired to Woodstock Georgia. Being part of the SWCB music family has enriched my life and enabled me to continue my lifelong love affair with the clarinet.
