Rehearsals

The band rehearses each Thursday from 2:00 until 4:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Woodstock. The orchestra room is on the third floor of the main building — there are plenty of elevators.

Concerts

Southern Winds Concert Band presents 8-10 concerts annually. We perform at local assisted living facilities and retirement communities at times convenient for their residents.
 

Dress

Performance dress is solid black.

Dues

So that new members can test whether or not the band is a good fit for them, there are no dues for the first month. After that, dues are $15.00 per month.

We are very grateful to the First Baptist Church Woodstock for allowing us to use their state-of-the-art orchestra room for our rehearsal. However, there is no connection between the Southern Winds Concert Band and the church or its ministries.
