SHOUT-OUT

Today’s Shout-Out goes to Jane. Whole notes on the oboe have never sounded so good. A small detail but sometimes a little nuance makes a big difference.

By the way, I can’t pronounce El Capitan correctly. As you probably have figured out, there are lots of words I can’t pronounce. I couldn’t even say my own name until junior high – it came out as “Tav.”

It is because of band that I started making friends and talking. Band was the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Otherwise, a little boy with a speech impediment would have never grown up to talk to large groups of people for a living!
